I’m a freelance copy editor – at least, I am 1 day of the working week. The other 4 days are spent looking after/entertaining/managing S-, our toddler.
S- is a cherubic, feisty, funny, endearing little girl. She has big dark blue eyes and a wide grin. She has one of those faces that just suits hats and sunglasses, and she loves splashing about in water.
I’m into music and gardening and reading. Luckily S- likes most of the activities, too, though mainly splashing about in water.
G-, my wife, is out at work Monday-Thursday and takes over the childcare reigns on Friday. Together she and S- seem to do quite a bit of shopping, as well as lunching with G-’s pals.
There’s also Boo, our black labrador bitch, who’s constantly mithering us for the type of attention she used to get before S- came along, and Meg, an aging lady who spends most of her time lying in the sun and avoiding Boo. Strangely- at least for a cat – Meg seems [occasionally] to enjoy S-’s enthusiastic attentions.
